Police in Orange are investigating a stabbing that occurred Tuesday afternoon at the LaQuinta Inn that is under construction on Highway 62 near I-10. Two co-workers became involved in a argument that escalated into the stabbing. The victim was transported to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont were he underwent surgery. The suspect, who is believed to be from Honduras, fled on foot and remains at large.
