A 15-year-old Ohio boy collapsed several times and was hospitalized with severe dehydration after a four-day marathon of playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on Xbox in his bedroom. The boy is expected to recover, but his gaming days may be over, as his mother, Jessie Rawlins, told local station WCMH-TV, "The Xbox is gone." Earlier this year, a Taiwanese teenager collapsed and died at an Internet cafe after playing the online video game, Diablo III, for 40 consecutive hours. A similar death was reported in South Korea in 2005.
Sounds like Mom and Dad aren't paying attention to the boy. How can your child go 4days straight playing a video game and you not think somethings not right with that. Yes I am a father and I am very involved in my childrens lives.
